vintage valentine - sweethearts

For over 100 years, this postcard has been tucked away. One Valentine's Day in 1909 someone sent it to their loved one, and it was briefly cherished and put into a collection of beautiful cards.

I imagine that whomever received this hoped that she might one day feel like the woman in the card, with a new gold ring adorning her finger, looking into the eyes of a rather rosy cheeked suitor! My hope is that wish came true for her!


One hundred and two years later, you can give this card to your little Valentine in a 5x7 frame, so she might keep it up year round as a testament to a very timeless courtship.
