Happy Happy New Year to all! Thank you for making this such a wonderful year for me. Your encouragement, purchases, modeling, and promotion was a wonderful gift. Now, I have a leaning toward sentimentality so I must not get too caught up in just how much time has passed (that tends to scare me a bit!) but I felt I had to do a quick photo recap, if not for you, to remember what happened with Chelsea Gwynne!
JANUARY:
Light on the jewelry making, heavy on the inspiration. Sources? Indian art, french whimsy, and a whole bunch of preppy stuff.

FEBRUARY:
I made many beautiful pieces that were ordered for mothers, girlfriends, and wives for Valentines day. I got a little wild with my rings, offered encouragement to others, made fail-proof hoops, and found inspiration in Rococo art, Tibetan prayer, and the Westminster Dog Show.

MARCH:
Created my gold standard, spent time with family & friends in Boston, WH, and farmhouses, found inspiration in the classics, waited for the Ides to pass.

APRIL:
Thank goodness! Spring arrived and CG broke out in big colors, bright bibs, and classic pearls.
MAY:
The arrival of stud earrings, custom bib orders (the work in those! Though I do miss them a bit!) a custom necklace for my mother using her mother's found pearls, many reasons to celebrate, a wonderful jewelry party, and found inspiration at Brimfield.

JUNE:
Turquoise cufflinks, lantern necklaces galore, coral and pops of green! Inspired by JP Licks Ice Cream flavors and first signs of summer.

JULY:
Spent time at the farm, the lake and the ocean. Built a firepit (in moral support!), supported charity in India, stuck to turquoise, and wedding orders!

Wedding orders! We spent time in Watch Hill, had a great jewelry show in Boston, celebrated my sister's birthday and tried to enjoy the last days of summer!

SEPTEMBER:
Beautiful rings with aquamarine, good press, and readying for fall with custom orders. We went "back to school" with a few new gems.

OCTOBER:
The month of custom orders! Lots of rings and earrings made their way out. We celebrated Mama's birthday with iolite and labradorite gems, and I found the prettiest autumn jade under the October sun!

NOVEMBER:
I officially turned old! But it didn't matter - as old world glamour influenced, and holiday sparkle started to emerge! My sister lost and found her diamond, jaunted around NYC, and the rose earrings made their first appearance!
DECEMBER:
The month of sparkles and trips to the post office! Holiday orders went out - some smoothly - and others resulting in USPS facing my wrath. We tied it all up in ribbons and bows and CG jewels made their way under a few trees and menorahs. Thank you so much for your orders! Also, your support and encouragement this past year was such a blessing! I hope I can keep you decked in fine one-of-a-kind jewels in the coming year!!
All the best for 2011!
